The monastery of Saint Mary Krorez was built in the middle of the XIV century, on a rocky shore with a natural picturesque position. The monastery is located about 2 km north-west of Kakome Monastery. From the old constructions of the monastery, which have managed to resist until today are: the church, the tower and the building with a gazebo. The church has a cross-shaped structure, with a dome on four free supports, similar to Byzantine churches.

The church in Krorëz was painted by Mihal Jerma in 1672. It is in the shape of a cross with a dome, with internal dimensions of 7.90x4.40 m. It consists of a unique volume and has a nave inside, separated from the altar area by a plastered wall iconostasis.

The nave is lit by two narrow windows in the north and south walls and the drum windows, while the altar area has two small windows. The floor of the church is paved with rectangular tiles and there is a rosette in the part under the dome, with a six-pointed star in the middle. The roof system with arches and a vault, rests on four columns with a circular cut and the side walls. The building with a gazebo is two-storey, while the roof is covered with two-layer stone slabs.

The entrance to the second floor of the tower is by external stone steps, resting on a cylindrical vault. In addition to these buildings, the ruins of other buildings are scattered around the church. This monastery had a bell, which was given to you by King Ferdinand of Naples as a commemoration of the 30 Lukovians who fell for the protection of the Queen of Naples.
