The Korça Archaeological Museum is housed in two typical Korça buildings from the 11th century and is situated in the heart of the city. For their architectural significance, they were designated as cultural monuments. The museum was founded in 1985 and expanded and expanded after its establishment in 1990.

In its field, the Archaeology Museum is exceptional. It is primarily concerned with the prehistory of the southeast region, from the Neolithic era through the later Iron Age. This museum features artifacts from a number of significant prehistoric towns, including Maliqi, Potgoria, Dunavesi, and Trajani, and a brief discussion of post-prehistoric times to wrap things up.

The majority of the 1200 display items in the Korça Archaeological Museum date to the Neo-Eneolithic, Bronze, and Iron Ages.

In 1985, Korça's archaeological museum was founded. This museum was constructed in a typical 19th-century structure. It displays the archaeological treasures of Albania's south-eastern areas, with the Korça basin taking up most of the space.
